No Bake Cookies
Okay, Mike is addicted to no bake cookies! He makes like 2 batches a week. I know its not really a big deal. But.....................we have been trying to go the no sugar route with the kids. If anyone has a variance to the original recipe I would be happy to mix up the cookie thing a little bit. I was going to take a picture of the batch he made last night but they are already all gone. All like 30 of them.

This is going to be a sugar free cookie, but nothing like your no bake cookies. I'd give Splenda a try. Buy a bag and see how it goes in the recipe. Just remember to use only half as much Splenda as you would sugar.
I use splenda in my no bake cookies. Well... I use Splenda in ALL my cookies. Like Ken said though, even though it says measures cup for cup, I'd only use like 3/4 the amount of "sugar" it calls for. I've found, however, that the no bake cookies are one of the worse tasting recipes to substitute with Splenda. Maybe try to go half and half with real sugar/splenda. That would at least cut down on the sugar content. .... My fav. thing that splenda has come out with.... BROWN SUGAR!. I was always stuck before when I made choc. chip cookies!
Oh, those no-bakes. Dark chocolatey goodness that just dissolves in your mouth. I am addicted to those things too.. when I start making them, it ends up being batch after batch for weeks.
I tried to use splenda once...thinking that I could at least not feel guilty about eating so many... it was not delightful.
It will either knock him right off of his cookie habit... or just swear him off of splenda for life.
You know, in the absence of cookies... you could just take a picture of Mike with chocolate smeared all over his face and his eyes lit up in his full on sugar buzz... that would be just as good.
If you send some to me in Italy, I could have them by Christmas. Could anything be better?
Would you pretty please add something to your blog? A long story... or lots of photos...
perhaps.
Every time I come over here to see if there is something new... I get the crazy urge to go upstairs and make no-bake cookies. It is a crazy urge.... difficult to ignore.
Either I have to stop coming here.. or you have to tell me a story :O)
